Schedule an appointment for an informal photosession
in your home, usually about a half hour. Weather
permitting, an outdoor setting can be used as
well. This low key environment allows everyone,
including the youngest babies, to be their authentic
selves. If it is not possible for Dianne to take
the photos herself, she can work from a client's
good photographs.
Dianne creates a preliminary sketch. Though not
a finished drawing, her preliminary sketch gives
her client a clear understanding of composition,
likeness and mood. This is emailed or mailed to
the client. Any concerns can be addressed. There
may be revisions. There may be none. Upon approval,
the finished portrait is created in either rich
pastel ar sensitive charcoal.The work can be done
any size but usually is 18 by 24 inches or 11
by 14 inches
The work is custom matted and mounted in foam
core to protect it. You may also order 8 x 10
inch giclee prints of your original. These are
museum quality prints that make the ultimate gift
for the grandparents. Personalized notecards with
the children's names and the year can be ordered
so that the art can be shared with everyone.
